Anna Kirkland is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where she studied Violin Performance under the instruction of Dr. Ari Streisfeld. During her time at UofSC, she was assistant concertmaster of the UofSC Symphony Orchestra under Maestro Scott Weiss, and has accompanied numerous soloists such as Angelo Xiang Yu, Elena Urioste, and many others. Anna is honored to have performed on various stages to include the Biltmore Estate, Asheville, NC; the Koger Center, Columbia, SC; the Peace Center, Greenville, SC; and Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Anna is dedicated to making music more accessible to each passing generation in our community by creating an encouraging lessons environment where her students are able to choose their own musical path. She uses classical techniques to help each student build a strong musical foundation that will allow them to create their own unique voice with their art.
