Hailed by the Philadelphia Inquirer as having “clarity and authority,” Nyamka has worked with the Philadelphia Orchestra (Asia Tour 2017), the Long Bay Symphony, Mongolian State Philharmonic, University of South Carolina Symphony Orchestra, and East Carolina University Symphony Orchestra. Recent highlights also include University of South Carolina Dance’s XIII & XIV Annual Ballet Starts of New York Gala Performances. He served as Personnel Manager and Assistant Conductor for the Long Bay Symphony while also conducting the Long Bay Youth Symphony. Nyamka is an active freelance violinist around the South Carolina/Georgia/North Carolina area. He currently teaches Violin and Viola at Presbyterian College, LCAM and Freeway Music. He is equally adept as a chamber musician – has regularly participated at the Four Season Chamber Music Festival & Summer Chamber Music Institute.
