Victoria K. Leitner earned a bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a vocal performance certificate from the University of South Carolina. During her time at USC, she focused her efforts on early childhood development, gaining experience teaching music to children 5 years old and under. She is GIML level 1 certified and continues to seek out professional development opportunities to keep her skills sharp. In addition to classroom teaching at both the elementary and secondary levels, she has been teaching privately to children and adults for over 8 years. She was most recently the USC Youth Choir Director and Children’s Chorus Master for the Koger Center for the Arts and Opera at USC’s production of Bernstein’s Mass. She has acted as Choral Clinician for Lexington 1 SSA Middle School Choral Clinic and Richland 1 SATB Middle School Choral Clinic. Ms. Leitner serves as an adjudicator for the South Carolina All-State Chorus and District Honors Choir. She has also been active in several community choirs. She has been a Trustus Theatre company member and active performer in musical theater since 2009. She is the lead singer in a local band, plays guitar, and is a singer/songwriter. She has experience teaching voice to all ages, levels, and styles and piano and general music to young beginners. She has a passion for teaching, singing, and sharing her love of music with others.
